Wheeled armored vehicles KOBV 6x6 and KOBV 8x8 are proposed to Armed Forces and their usage may be found in both, military and peace keeping actions. These vehicles are for crew of 11 members (driver, commander, gunner and 8 members of squad).

Vehicles KOBV are designed with two different drive systems. The first one uses powerful combustion engine, the second one uses parallel hybrid drive by combination of combustion engine and electromotor. These variants are designed for both versions, KOBV 6x6 and KOBV 8x8. Sufficient torque and power provide these vehicles excellent terrain capabilities and high maximal speed (140 km/h).

Version KOBV 6x6 uses allangle first and last axle, version KOBV 8x8 uses all four allangle axles. Suspension is offered in two alternatives. The first alternative uses coil springs, the second alternative uses semiactive hydropneumatic suspension. Hydraulic double circuit system is expanded by ABS.

A shape of vehicle is chosen to offer maximal protection against mine explosions. The vehicle resists AP 7.62. The design was determined by maximal crew comfort. Detectors of contamination, filter-ventilating system and hermetic space are basic issues. Vehicles can be equipped by turret.
